Jeep 4.0 Oil Capacity. I know i am about 12 years late on a response here, but i put 6 quarts of oil in my 2000 jeep tj last weekend as the manual stated. Of the fact some automobiles now days carry peculiar quantities of oil,,used to it grew to become into the two 4 or 5 quarts,,now at times it 4.5 quarts,so do it this form,and you gets te appropriate i want to say that the haynes/chilton repair manuals say 5.5 quarts though.
